Comparison / AnyDesk
An AnyDesk alternative priced per technician
An AnyDesk alternative with a different licensing unit: Remote Login bills per technician. Compare that model with concurrent connections, then test the consent, platform and customer-record workflow on the devices you really support.
Remote Login
Why people look for a AnyDesk alternative
A concurrent-connection plan can be economical when several technicians share a small amount of simultaneous usage. It can become harder to forecast when the team’s work overlaps more often. The useful question is how your service behaves at its busy times, not simply how many people are on payroll.
AnyDesk’s official pricing page lists connection allowances alongside user and managed-device limits. We compare that published model rather than repeat an unverified historical percentage increase. The page checked on 22 September 2026 showed list prices and promotional prices; an offer is not a permanent renewal guarantee.
Remote Login uses a purchased seat count instead. Agency is $45 per technician per month, with 250 devices per seat and unlimited client organisations. That makes the arithmetic easy to explain, but it does not mean named-seat licensing is cheaper for every shift pattern.
Consider the change if you want the price to follow the people doing the work and if the organisation, consent and audit workflow fits your service. Do not switch solely because one vendor counts connections and another counts people. Different units are a tradeoff to calculate, not evidence of wrongdoing.

| Question | AnyDesk | Remote Login |
|---|---|---|
| What is the licensing unit? | Concurrent connections plus plan-specific user and managed-device limits; billed annually. | Named technician seats; monthly prices. |
| What is the published starting point for this comparison? | Standard: $42.90/month base list price, before promotions, for one connection. | Starter $25, Agency $45, Pro $75 per technician/month. |
| How should I compare device capacity? | Use the allowance in the exact selected plan. | 100 devices/Starter seat; 250/Agency seat; unlimited/Pro seat. |
| What about client organisations? | Verify the required separation and workflow in the chosen edition. | One on Starter; unlimited on Agency and Pro. |
| What about branding? | Check the relevant edition and each customer-facing surface. | Branding on Agency; full white-label on Pro, with disclosed limits. |
| Can this control an iPhone? | Third-party control is constrained by iOS; distinguish viewing from input. | Attended iOS sharing and guidance; no remote touch input. |
The table names the decisions a buyer must verify. A blank assumption should not be converted into a “no” in the competitor’s column. Edition-dependent capabilities need the actual plan, and technical requirements need a real device test.
Keep the completed comparison with the evaluation notes. Record which plan was quoted, when it was checked and which requirements remained unresolved. That gives the eventual buyer a decision they can review, instead of a screenshot of a headline price with the important conditions cropped away.
For the OS side, use the published platform capability matrix. For the support experience, review our remote support platform and ask each vendor to show the person-at-the-device view as well as the console.

Where AnyDesk is genuinely the better choice
AnyDesk may remain the better choice when its connection performance on your constrained links is already proven and that is central to your support service. We do not publish a codec benchmark claiming that Remote Login will beat it on every network. Measure the conditions you actually use.
A provider with many occasional technicians and little simultaneous usage may also prefer a concurrent model. Test the busiest realistic overlap and calculate the eligible plan before concluding that per-seat pricing is an improvement. A small recurring invoice difference can be outweighed by the cost of a migration.
Inspect AnyDesk’s current plan and feature matrix for the deployment you need. Remote Login’s comparison is about a focused workflow and its commercial model, not a claim that a broad incumbent has no useful capabilities.

What switching actually involves
First measure simultaneous use in the current environment. The number of staff accounts alone does not tell you what a connection-based plan costs or whether it is constraining the team. Record the peak overlap, the managed fleet and the features your technicians use routinely.
Then pilot Remote Login with the same representative network conditions. Try the workflows that matter on a slow or restricted connection instead of judging only from a fast office network. Verify screen, pointer and keyboard capability separately, and inspect what the person at the device sees.
Plan re-enrolment and the change in customer-facing identity. The old installer, saved connection details and training notes will not update themselves. Keep a recovery route through the existing service until you have proved the replacement on the required platforms. Preserve any needed history before retiring the old account.
Treat the change as a controlled pilot with a way back. The devices belong to a customer or employer, and installing another access path changes who can reach them. Tell the responsible people what is changing, who authorises it and how they can identify a legitimate session.
Before committing, read the setup, session and record flow and the security model. Providers should also check the multi-client organisation model and the actual white-label scope.

What it would cost you
Remote Login Agency is $45 multiplied by the purchased technician count. Five technicians are $225 per month, with 1,250-device capacity across unlimited client organisations. The same five staff do not automatically require five simultaneous connections in another product.
AnyDesk’s Standard base list figure checked here was $42.90 per month for one connection, billed annually, before a displayed promotion. User, device and add-on conditions still apply. We do not turn that base figure into an equivalent team quote without establishing the team’s concurrency and feature needs.
Use our seat calculator for the Remote Login side. It shows the lowest-priced plan that fits exactly the selected number of technicians, device count and organisation choice. Required feature entitlements can still lead you to a different tier.
Include the overlap between subscriptions, deployment time and technician familiarisation in a migration budget. These are ordinary costs of changing a business tool, even when the replacement’s monthly subscription is lower.

Questions, answered
Questions about moving from AnyDesk
Is Remote Login a direct replacement for every AnyDesk feature?
No. Remote Login is a focused remote support and access platform. List the features your team actually depends on, including integrations and administration workflows, then evaluate those requirements explicitly. A successful remote desktop connection alone does not establish full product parity.
Will Remote Login promise never to change its prices?
No permanent price-lock promise is made here. The current published monthly seat prices and terms make the present calculation explicit. Predictable billing means the unit and included capacity are clear; it should not be read as a guarantee that no future price will ever change.
Can we move the whole fleet in one step?
A staged rollout is more useful than an untested fleet cutover. Begin with representative devices and client organisations, verify permissions and records, and keep a recovery route until the replacement works. No one-click migration of agents or historical audit data is advertised.
Will changing vendors give us full iPhone control?
No third-party support platform gains system-wide iPhone input privileges merely by replacing another app. Read why iOS viewing and control are different, including the separate Apple FaceTime feature, before promising a mobile support capability.
What should the pilot prove?
Prove the enrolled device is in the correct organisation, the technician has the intended permissions, the supported inputs work and the customer sees a clear session. Test decline, expiry and revocation as well as acceptance. Finally, inspect the record that remains.
